HuePets Diet Tracker
A cross-platform diet tracking program designed to improve the diets of kids while making it fun. Kids use the the mobile app to scan their food and feed their pet, even as they feed themselves, encouraging "hue-healthy" eating. Parents can monitor their kids' diets, award them prizes, browse for healthy recipes and tips, and score awesome deals and coupons.
About This Project
As developer on the project, I worked and designed every stage of the projects development, from mockups, to deployments, and everything in between. I worked with the Product Manager to develop rich features, ans cool templates. The parent portal was built on Ruby on Rails framework, running on AWS Virtual servers. Features include an Api, used to integrate with the mobile app to collect and share date with the user's device, user authentication, reporting charts, AWS integration for easy reward purchasing, content management and filtering, and Coupons.com integration.
